Pornotátil is an interactive performance in which the artist, the Saint, the enemy of evil, poses as an unconventional pornographic object. By shifting eroticism from the visual to the tactile, he proposes a different way of perceiving based on other senses. In this way, he offers the audience another possibility of contact with what he calls the pornographic gesture. In his works, he proposes pornography as a language, shifting the meaning of the commonly fetishized object to the gesture of erotic making.

In this performance, Santo wears a vest that covers his nakedness. With his pants open inside, the audience can touch and manipulate his entire genital area while he remains in a meditative state of presence and eye contact with the participants.

The visual containment apparatus and the audience are confronted with the idea of going beyond the idea of purely visual pornography and breaking into another sensitive territory often related to fantasy: touch, reality, flesh, texture, etc.

This performance refers to the performativity of several artists such as Carolee Sheneman, Yoko Ono, Annie Sprinkle, etc. Above all, it works on a revisitation of the work “Tap and Touch Cinema” by VALIE EXPORT.
