The Grindr Astral Whores List was born from the desire to capture the memory of certain affections and to capture in images what is often a secret. This series is a gesture of consecrating real or imagined characters to the status of archetypes, not because of the completeness of a character, but because of the fragmentary revelation of their sexual diversity. They are astral whores because they operate on a plane that transcends time and space: a plane of possibilities of the body and spirit. Listing is, here, an emblematic act of valuation. A way of validating existences, gestures, appearances and flashes. An exercise in expanded portraiture. When I paint based on the screen of my cell phone, I cross media and temporalities: the screenshot of the app, oil paint, expressionism, cotton canvas, and the eroticism that forms in the gaze or in the idea. All of this composes an affective cartography that is, at the same time, a portrait and invention of pleasures.
